VACCINATION PROTOCOL
All dogs must have Veterinarian proof of current rabies, distemper (either combination or individually) and bordetella. Bordetella must be given no later than 7 days prior to boarding.

Cancellation/Change Policy
Effective 8/8/2022
Due to many last minute cancellations and day-of drop off cancellations I have to update my cancellation policy. While I understand that “things” happen, I have many people looking for spots. I cannot fill these spots if the cancellations are last minute.
New reservations will require the following deposit(s)
Reservations for 3 days or less will be paid in full within 24 hours of reservation confirmation.
If the reservation is cancelled up to 8 days prior to drop off date, the deposit will be credited to the customer account. If the reservation is cancelled 0-7 days of drop off date, the deposit will be forfeited.
Reservations for 4 or more days will be required to pay a deposit of 3 days per dog within 24 hours of reservation confirmation. If the reservation is cancelled up to 8 days prior to drop off date, the deposit will be credited to the customer account. If the reservation is cancelled 0-7 days withing drop off date, the deposit will be forfeited.
All confirmation emails will state the amount required to hold the spot. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.
Deposits will be credited to the owner account. No exceptions to this policy. I get charged for every refund transaction.
Any changes made to reservations must be made at least 3 days BEFORE drop off. If changes are made at the time of drop off or picking up early you will still be charged for the ORIGINAL days.

Females in heat will not be permitted to stay.
Any pet found to have fleas and/or ticks will be treated immediately at owner's expense or we will refuse boarding. It is your responsibility to know if your dog has fleas or ticks. It is my responsibility to ensure my guests do not bring fleas and ticks into my facility.
Food
All pets must have enough food for their stay plus at least 1 extra day in case of an emergency. I cannot stress this enough! Please, please make sure if you are premeasuring your dog's food to check and double check that you packed enough food. Treats and toys are welcome. We cannot guarantee the condition of items will be the same as when they came it. All pets are provided with Kuranda beds and stainless steel dishes.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING GLASS INTO THE FACILITY!
Cats must come in a carrier, this is for their protection and safety.
Medication to be given must be in original container w/ correct vet instructions. See our services page for additional charges if applicable. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
Gift certificates are available for pet boarding. They make great gifts!
Can I bring my dog's bed?
- Nope. Sadly we have changed our stance on personal bedding when someone brought in a mattress topper.
Should I bring my pet's bowls?
- Nope, I have it covered from standard stainless steel, plastic, raised feeders, as well as slow feeders. Enrichment toys are also used!
My dog's rabies vaccination expired last week. Can he stay without me getting him a new one?
- Sorry, all vaccinations must be current. No exceptions to this policy.
No one can take care of my dog like I can. (ok so it's not a question but I hear this a lot) Correct! But I can guarantee that they will be loved and well taken care of.
Can I drop off/pick up on Saturday? The office is closed on Saturdays for pick up/drop off. Due to staffing shortages, I cannot accommodate these requests.

It brings me the greatest pleasure to announce that Stay & Play will have a new owner effective November 13th, 2024.
As many of you know Jim and I will be embarking on a new adventure that will take us out of New York. This adventure resulted in us having to sell our home and my business. I want to reassure everyone, the new buyers are everything I could ever hope for! Oh and did I mention they’re also existing clients!?! How cool is that?
